A session in San Antonio has brought me three new furry friends. Mitzie, a 17 yr old loving shit-zu mix, Zoe a zealous Schnauzer and Carmen the exquisite calico.
I had so much fun at this session, even with Mitzie evading my camera all day. Mitizie’s mom warned me that it would be a little difficult to get some good shots of Mitzie because she is terrified of the camera, the noise it makes, the flash and even the rain. Yes, even the rain. Darling Mitzie was a little stressed due to the weather, but she started to warm up to me once the sun came out and dried up all the rain and the itsy bitsy Mitzie went outside to play. 😉
Zoe on the other hand was so excited to have a visitor in her home. She was in my lap giving me loves and kisses within minutes of my arrival.
Zoe really enjoys being the center of attention and it certainly shows.
Carmen the Calico however went into hiding the minute my camera came out of my bag, but with a little coaxing from mom she was soon hogging up my camera lens with her dazzling green eyes and delicate long whiskers. Mom even got a kiss from Carmen before she scampered off to her favorite hiding spot under the bed.
By the end of our session all three of these little critters were my new friends. Creating these memories for Jenny (mom) was such an honor. Little Mitzie has been through a lot lately and is quite the fighter. I’m glad I could be there to create these memories for her and her furry family.
