The youngest, the smallest, but by far not the quietest! Charlize or Charlie Bear as I call her ,is a handful, but so disgustingly sweet you just want to eat her up. Charlie arrived on St. Patrick’s day almost two years ago. She’s quite an observer. You think she’s not paying attention, but she clearly has been watching every move you’ve made, sort of like a T-Rex *, but with longer arms. She may even get some flesh if you’re not careful. You really don’t want to make her angry or she may smother you with her cuteness. (see example below)
Living in Portland for the first 15 months of her life, I missed quite a bit. Now that we are all living under one roof here in Austin (TX), I get to see much more of her everyday antics.
Being Auntie-Mommy or Anti-Mommy (as my sister calls me) has definitely proven my theory that children should come with duct tape. I don’t have another set of arms, but sometimes I wish I did or at least some duct tape. Three kids can be a bit overwhelming at times and other times it can be very blissful and tons of fun. Days like that you wish you had a camera. Luckily I have said camera and we did have tons of fun. Here are a few shots from spending the day with Charlie.
