At first blush the idea of writing a blog was daunting as my passion lies in photography not writing. I was lucky enough to find my true bliss in life at a young age. I am self-taught, but love to learn from others. I have had the privilege to work side by side with some amazing photographers who have taught me much more than I ever could have in any class. My first revelation of becoming a photographer came to me when my sister told me she was pregnant with her first child.. ever since I took her pregnancy picture there has been no turning back. Now, seven years later I am in Austin, TX, following my bliss and working on my photography book about birth. You can always find me walking around town with my camera in hand and mind reeling. I love to photograph life and all that it has to offer. From trees and clouds to bees and ants. I hope I never overcome trying to fit the world inside a picture frame. There is too much of it I want to see.
Hello,
I am writing an article about the White Party and would like to use your pictures with photo credit. Do you mind?
Thanks

I really loved “I hope I never overcome trying to fit the world inside a picture frame. There is too much of it I want to see.” It’s such a great thing when you find what it is in life that makes you really happy. Bliss is important. Satisfying the soul is important. And although I have always felt so, it became glaringly apparent when I worked in retail a few years back. They seem to frown upon someone who moves around the merchandise to match their vision of color coordination
