There is always something to do or see in Austin, Tx for FREE. Even at 5:30 am you can witness a spectacular view of the colorful Hot Air Balloons lingering over Lake Travis, which is exactly what I did a few weeks ago. We got there just in time to see them lift off. Since I wanted a shot of the lake we quickly drove to the other side of Lake Travis to capture them gliding next to the boats on the water.
It’s so much fun to see these massive balloons filled with people just float away like a feather in the breeze. I highly recommend not missing next years event. For more information you can visit Central Texas Ballooning for other events in your area.
